About Us

Owning my own Kennel and Breeding dogs has been a lifelong dream of mine. I have gone to great lengths to produce healthy, sound puppies. Our success is determined by satisfying new owners with a wonderful puppy. I very much want you to be pleased with your new furry family member and I want my puppies to be placed in loving and caring homes. To make my goals attainable, I abide by the following guidelines:

Contracts: I will only sell a pet under written contract. I have a policy regarding health guarantees and refund/return policy. We do require a spay/neuter contract on some dogs.

Support: I will offer you support with your new puppy and help you place your pet if you cannot keep him/her.

Knowledge: I have owned Miniature Australian Shepherds & Toy Australian Shepherds since 1986. I have owned and shown dogs since I was 12 years old. I am very knowledgeable about the breed.

Our Home and Socialization: My dogs are all part of my family. They live with us and are considered to be a very important part of my family. We call them furry family members. We are on a ranch and the dogs are not kenneled unless it is for their safety. Even the puppies are raised in the home.

Honesty: I am willing to answer all your questions about the breed and tell you how to care for your new puppy. You are welcome to visit our ranch and see the environment that our dogs live in. Our furry family members are clean, healthy and happy. You can meet the whole family.

Screening: I try to screen as best as possible. Through e-mails I will ask you questions about you, your family and lifestyle. This is to make sure our puppies are placed in the right homes and to make sure this is the right breed for you.

Records: I have breeding records and pedigrees for the sire and dam along with health records.

Location: Rocky Top Kennels is located on the Central Coast of California. Our small town is Creston and is part of San Luis Obispo County about 25 miles from Paso Robles, California.
